CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - A relatively close game turned into a not-so-close one Wednesday night in Cape Girardeau. The result was a 12-2 victory by the Cape Girardeau Cape Catfish over the River Dragons at Capaha Field. The game was shortened because of the Prospect League's 10-run rule. Cape Girardeau led 3-2 heading intro the bottom of the seventh inning. That's when the Catfish erupted for four runs. They added five more runs in the eighth inning for the 10-run advantage over Alton. The loss leaves the River Dragons at 0-2 in the second half of the season.
