CAPE GIRARDEAU (WSIL) -- MoDOT crews set to make bridge repairs in Cape Girardeau.. The Bill Emerson Memorial Bridge connecting Illinois and Missouri will be reduced to one lane from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. The one lane will have a 16 foot width restriction. The repairs will take place from October 3 to October 6. The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
